**The opportunity**

Our client is a community focused federal government agency. They have an exciting opportunity available for an **Engagement Support Officer** to assist the Agency's Participant Advocate Division in supporting the development and implementation of participant centric policies and services

12-month initial Labour Hire contract with the opportunity to extend. APS6 level role paying an hourly rate of $58.50 + Superannuation, to be based out of **Geelong**, including 2 days working from home each week, with the remaining 3 on site.

**The role**

The APS6 Engagement Support is a team membership position that may be required to perform work that involves team leadership and management responsibilities requiring the setting of priorities and managing workflows of a team.

The APS6 Engagement Support will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice on a range of stakeholder matters to resolve moderately complex to complex enquiries.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Planning and deploying team activities, communicating and educating key stakeholders on program vision and deliverables
- Facilitating engagement meetings, reference groups and other consultations and documenting and analysing insights gained from engagement
- Integrating learning and advice from stakeholders into future engagement activities
- Developing and reviewing communication materials
- Liaising with relevant business areas, determining participant engagement needs and supporting the development of engagement plans
- Escalating reputational risks associated with engagement and communication activities
