THE ROLE

The Portfolio Planner role presents a challenging and rewarding opportunity to help deliver the $5.3 billion Big Housing Build, Australia's largest-ever investment in social and affordable housing. This role's focus is supporting the advancement of social and affordable housing projects on surplus or underutilised government land.
The successful applicant will work collaboratively in the team to assess potential development opportunities, commission consultant teams to undertake development feasibility, and engage with internal and external stakeholders to determine social and affordable housing growth opportunities.
Good communication and project management skills are key, along with attention to detail and the ability to create and maintain accurate records. Experience working in state government, land and planning desirable.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

- Effectively manage and co-ordinate processes, workflow, as well prepare and track program delivery across teams, maintain corporate information systems for records management, financial information, and ministerial correspondence as required.
- Undertake desktop assessment and feasibility analysis of potential sites for social and affordable housing development according to key criteria including liveability, demand, and delivery readiness
- Procurement of due diligence and other consultant services to support the site selection and feasibility analysis of sites
