Weekend Barista

**Job Title: Weekend Barista (High Volume)**

MOB Camberwell, a bustling café located in Camberwell, is seeking a skilled and experienced Weekend Barista to join our team. Our café is known for its exceptional coffee and great brunch options and electric atmosphere. We are looking for someone who can handle a high volume while maintaining standards of quality and customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other beverages to customers
- Assist with food preparation, as needed
- Provide excellent customer service, including greeting customers, taking orders, and handling cash and card payments
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment
- Work independently and efficiently during busy periods
- Work efficiently alongside other team members
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Be willing to learn about our menu items and make recommendations to customers
- Maintain accurate inventory and order supplies as needed

Qualifications:

- At least 1 years of experience as a Barista in a high volume/specialty café
- Excellent customer service skills
- A passion for coffee and the ability to create basic latte art
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work weekends and public holidays
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Prior experience with POS systems and cash handling is a plus

- Camberwell VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Barista: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
