**About us**

Operating for over 80 years, Gowrie Victoria is a not-for-profit organisation that provides long day care and kindergarten at six sites across Melbourne. We also have a growing consulting function and an RTO specialising in early learning qualifications.

There are many elements that make Gowrie Clare Court unique. From our shared garden spaces where children interact with siblings and other children across a range of ages, to our Out and About Program that supports community engagement and relationship with Country. We are uniquely located adjacent to beautiful parklands and only a short walk from the bustling Yarraville village.

**About the Role**:

- Lead the overall operation of the program, and lead the team to establish a strong vision for the service that is aligned to the Gowrie philosophy
- Develop strong collaborative relationships with families and the local community to ensure the programs support the community to thrive
- Inspire and motivate the team through ongoing coaching and opportunities for learning and development
- Lead continuous improvement with support from operational and pedagogical teams
- Contribute to the wider organisation by continuously improving practice through collaboration, reflection and working with the leadership team.

As Centre Director/Manager you will work as part of a service-level leadership with an Assistant Manager, Educational Leaders and administrative support. You will also work closely with support from our operations team and Pedagogy Leader.

**About You**:
You will bring to the role:

- A genuine enthusiasm for making a difference in the lives of children and their families
- Diploma (minimum) qualification in Early Childhood, or equivalent
- Significant experience and demonstrated capacity to lead and mentor a team
- Comprehensive knowledge of the National Quality Framework and approved learning frameworks
- Experience working with a range of systems, including CCSS and rostering systems
