Operations Supervisor

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our team. Located at Melbourne Airport, the role of the Operations Supervisor is responsible for the operational excellence of the Victorian country agency network.
With this role, you will you drive change and provide guidance to ensure the optimal performance of the Road Express / Priority agency network throughout Victoria.
We are looking for someone who is collaborative, results orientated and tough minded. Your attention to detail, passion, strong communication and management skills along with your understanding of OH&S principles and a geographical understanding will hold you in high regard.
Working hours: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM (flexibility available):
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily debrief with agency network to provide solutions to roadblocks and ensure customer service agreements are met- Assist the Customer Service team in the resolution of enquiries / escalations in the regional network- Liaise and coordinate with linehaul providers to ensure that all freight is uplifted to achieve customer service agreements- Administration of payroll function- Overseeing pallet control within agency network- Lead KPI metric improvements- Incident management and reporting- Collaborate with other internal teams to ensure the success / continuous improvement of the overall business
What we’re looking for:
- Strong verbal & written skills, communication is an essential part of the role.- Previous experience in a similar role / industry would be highly advantageous although not essential- Open to travelling within Victoria for site visits as required- Commercial acumen will be highly regarded- Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills- Great attitude and a ‘can do’ mindset, highly motivated to achieve- Motivated and driven to achieve success- Effective record keeping / organisational skills- An understanding of KPI’s
