Tyremax is a leading tyre wholesaler with a national distribution network and well-established quality brands and are in pursuit of an experienced, customer centric and passionate results-driven Operations Manager to lead the warehousing and distribution team based at our Perth Branch.

Reporting to the National Operations Manager and working in tandem with the Branch Sales Manager, the expectation is that you possess strong leadership and business acumen skills.

Key Requirements and Selection Criteria will include:

- Extensive and demonstrated logistics and warehouse management knowledge and experience
- Proven ability to organise self and others,
- Experienced in training, coaching and motivating team members
- Negotiation skills and ability to influence others
- Possession and implementation of business acumen skills and

Key duties and responsibilities of this role include:

- WHS - Overall responsibility for site OH&S inclusive of Chain of Responsibility (CoR)
- Stock Management - Overseeing the flow of product in and out of the warehouse in an effective and efficient manner.
- Warehouse Management - Overall co-ordination of warehouse team members, working hours, allocation of duties, productivity, workforce planning and daily operation of the warehouse
- Customer Service / Delivery - management of all despatch activities and enforcement of exceptional customer service delivery protocols
- Leadership and effective people management - providing team members with exceptional communication, identification of training and development and coaching and mentoring of team member.
