Hays is currently recruiting a Process Technician to join a tier 1 mining company.

**Your new role**:
Hays is currently recruiting a Process Technician with experience in a mineral processing plant. If successful, you will be responsible for safely operating parts of the plant in order to achieve production targets.

The role will include learning and operating process plants that produce a high quality mineral product. This will be an ongoing assignment with the possibility of going permanent pending performance.

Duties include:

- Monitoring plant performance to identify changes to the process and rectify any issues.
- Monitoring equipment condition and reporting defects to the maintenance team for rectification.
- Maintaining housekeeping (hosing up and checking for spillages).
- Cleaning equipment to ensure it operates smoothly.
- Taking product samples for the lab to analyse and make changes to the process based on the results.

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- Experience with Mineral Processing.
- A valid C Class driver's licence.
- A current National Police Clearance.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
- Full Australian working rights.
