About the role

Our Perth Processing Centre is seeking a Processing Technician Grade 2 to contribute to the efficient, sufficient and timely production and distribution of safe blood and blood products.

You’ll achieve this through teamwork, collaboration and an uncompromising focus on safety, quality and customer service, taking pride in delivering the right products, to the right places, at the right time.

**A day as a Processing Technician could see you**:
Perform standardised processing of blood and blood products.

Operate specialised equipment, including standard set up and minor maintenance activities

Assist in Processing team compliance by following standard operating procedures, with timely escalations of any deviation from work schedule or process

Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend and twist to operate different platforms

Experience working with operations in a regulated production environment adhering to the principles of GMP & GLP

Highly developed interpersonal skills with a collaborative working style

Ability to participate in a flexible roster working variable shifts

Strong customer focus with the ability to identify improvement initiatives

A trusted, responsive, and reliable team player who supports the achievement of shared goals

The role is permanent part-time(20 hours a week). Our department operates on a 7 day rotating roster and as such there may be a requirement to participate in various shifts (morning, day, afternoon) and sometimes work over weekend.
