**Your new role**

You will provide repair and maintenance expertise to ensure the Commonwealth owned Mission Systems maintain a high vehicle availability in order to be able to be tasked by Army units daily. You will also be given the opportunity to conduct this at the sites of the resident Army Units, relevant contractor external supplier locations or in the field (Army exercise or Operations).
- Two positions are focussed on systems, platform (automotive systems) and C4I.
- Two positions are focussed on Mechanical and Electrical trades.
- You will be the POC for technical issues related to Maintenance Support
- Liaise with engineers on technical matters related to the fleets
- Receive engineering/technical tasks
- Conduct Maintenance Engineering level analysis to establish task details
- Provide technical and administrative support to resolve problems related to maintenance, training, and product quality
- Assist in incorporation of CoA approved engineering changes and retrofits
- Review task requirements and allocate work
- Support engineering proposal development.
- Review designs.
- Assist ILS Specialists with Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) Record requirements with maintenance and maintainer tasks
- You will have the opportunity and requirement to travel locally, interstate and potentially overseas for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) maintainer training.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- You must be an Australian Citizen who is eligible for NV1 security clearance.
- Ideally over 5 years experience in maintenance working with heavy vehicle tracked machinery.
- Experience with Army/ADF vehicle maintenance and repair processes and procedures.
- Experience working with Army/ADF units and knowledge of how vehicles are employed.
- Experience working within environments with a high Safety-First culture and ensuring the safety of all personnel working in and around ADF vehicles.
- Experience scheduling maintenance and reporting status to management organisations
- Experience supervising and assessing technical trades on the job.
- Experience with Windchill PLM suite is highly regarded
