Technology Program Manager

**The role**:
As the Technology Program Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of technology based projects for South East Water’s treatment plants. These projects are works originating in the Resource Recovery branch and require hands on support to ensure success in the delivery of these projects. The role ensures appropriate planning and delivery activities are undertaken to ensure the safe delivery of these works.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to;
- Deliver specific WRP projects
- Manage the planning and design activities associated with Design and Build delivery methodology projects or major projects.
- Undertake financial forecasting and activities such as payment of invoices and tracking of expenditure.
- Manage contracts and contractors.
- Act as an operational and SCADA interface point for major projects.
- Co-ordinate and manage all Resource Recovery SCADA change requests.
- Support the change management required to deliver new technologies to the WRPs.
- Represent the Resource Recovery branch on activities relating to WRP drawings and drawing management.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered safely in accordance with SEW safety culture

**Who are you?**:
You will have solid experience in water/wastewater treatment, and a qualification in Qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or similar.

In addition you will have;
- Sound technical understanding in treatment processes
- Strong engagement in the commissioning of new technologies
- Project management skills
- Excellent communication skills, in particular an ability to develop productive working relationships with a range of people including operators, consultants, alliance partners and regulators;
- Detailed knowledge and experience of site construction safety requirements and associated legislation.
- Significant experience in stakeholder engagement, project management and relevant technical areas is required for this role.
- Experience in developing pilot and full scale trial plant and equipment on wastewater treatment plants, including interfaces with materials handling equipment and transfer systems.
- Significant experience in commissioning new plant on recycled water treatment plants and reporting trial results and recommendations.
