**About the Role**
An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified mental health clinician to work as a care coordinator within an Early In Life Mental Health Inpatient unit, for people between the ages of 12-18. This Position is located on the Stepping Stones Inpatient Unit, which is part of Monash Children's Hospital.
To engage in working therapeutically working with a young person, their family and the wider system. To include brief, targeted family and individual therapy interventions tailored to each young person need and use approaches such as sensory modulation, safety planning, aspects of CBT or DBT as well as providing aspects of our ward therapeutic group programme relevant to discipline.”
Be involved in coordinating the care of young people within a 'Mini Team structure', which provides the foundation of care within the Multi-Disciplinary Care Team. The Mini Team consists of a teacher and a nurse, and a consultant Psychiatrist. The role of the Care Coordinator is to coordinate the care of the young person.

You are dedicated and passionate about children, adolescent and youth mental health. You enjoy working with internal and external agencies and have good communication skills. You are a person who lives our iCARE values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence.
The Mental Health Clinician we are looking for is someone with:
- Qualifications and relevant registrations in at least one of the following: Nursing (Div.1), Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology.
- Capacity to work independently and within a team
- A friendly and professional attitude
- Excellent engagement, relationship and therapeutic skills.
