**About the role**:
Guest Services Supervisors are responsible for the Admissions and Food and beverage daily operations, working for and alongside the Guest Services and Food and Beverage Mangers, to ensure an effective Team that deliver a positive, safe and memorable Guest experience.

The role encompasses varying responsibilities being a combination of hands-on duties, supervisorial tasks and guest services. Key responsibilities of the position include:

- Effective supervision and coordination of Team members through daily work functions, roster management and training
- Open and closing duties/procedures as well as the completion of daily and weekly cleaning/operational duties
- Handling Guest enquiries alongside the resolution of Guest complaints and concerns in a timely and efficient manner ensuring a positive business outcome is achieved
- Use, training and troubleshooting of Point of Sales systems to complete sales and in park bookings
- Maximising revenue through suggestive service techniques, working towards daily targets as set by direct managers
- Responding to incidents in a prompt, calm and professional manner

This is a casual seasonal position offering approximately 10-15 hours per week in the off-peak periods (Sep-Nov & Feb-Apr) and potentially 30+ hours per week during peak periods (Dec-Jan). The successful applicant will be required to have full availability during peak periods and full weekend and public holiday availability is essential. Applicants that are unable to work on weekends and public holidays will not be considered for the position.

**Skills & Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a guest services &/or tourism attraction role
- Ability to supervise a diverse Team and assorted responsibilities
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Leadership and management skills
- Organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Good understanding of POS best practice
- Current first aid qualifications, desirable

- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Energetic, dynamic, positive, enthusiastic and a Team player
- Ability to handle high pressure environments
- Ability to relate to people

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $34.00 per hour
