Do you have a passion for cooking? Well it is your lucky day Perth’s Outback Splash, is looking for an experienced passionate, and organised Kitchenhand to assist our kitchen team in providing delicious burgers to our guests for this Summer Season.

**About the role**:
You will be responsible for assisting the kitchen team with preparing freshly made wraps & salads, food preparation, hands-on cooking made to order burgers and group catering. You will be working alongside the kitchen team to ensure an effective Team that deliver a positive, safe, and memorable Guest experience.

**Key responsibilities of the position include**:

- Assisting in the preparation of cooked to order burgers, deep fried items, pre-prepared wraps, baguettes, and salads, catered events including birthdays, school groups, corporate packages and platters
- Follow all food safety procedures and safe food handling practices
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Ensuring the delivery of outstanding food items at all times
- General food and beverage duties as required.
- Work effectively within a team environment to promote a positive working environment.

**Essential criteria**:

- Minimum 2 years kitchen experience in a similar role
- Experience in short order cooking and deep frying
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Outgoing and enthusiastic with a can-do attitude towards learning and delivering the high standards of service
- Guest and safety focused with excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to others
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Have excellent personal presentation and grooming

This is a casual seasonal position. The successful applicant will be required to have full availability during December - January. Weekend and public holiday availability is essential.

**Salary**: $20.33 - $39.24 per hour
