**Store Manager - The Stinking Bishop (Cheese Shop)**
**Shop 5/63-71 Enmore Road, Newtown NSW 2042**
**Salary**: $76,515 per annum plus superannuation
**Full-time (38 hours per week)**

The Stinking Bishop is a renowned specialty cheese shop and restaurant located in the heart of Newtown, offering one of Sydney’s most unique selections of artisan cheeses, gourmet products, and fine deli items. We pride ourselves on our exceptional customer experience and dedication to quality.
**About the Role**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage and supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Lead and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Oversee inventory, stock control, and supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace standards.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgets, sales targets, and cost control.
- Develop and implement marketing or promotional initiatives in collaboration with management.
- Maintain a high standard of product knowledge and presentation.
**Skills and Experience**
- Minimum of **2-3 years’ experience** in a management or supervisory role within retail or hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of **cheese, deli products, or gourmet food** (preferred).
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead a team and manage day-to-day operations.
- Competence in POS systems and basic business administration.
**Qualifications**
- A Diploma in Business, Retail, or Hospitality Management (or equivalent experience).
Pay: $75,000.00 - $77,667.74 per year
