**Quality Assurance Officer**
We have an exciting opportunity for a quality assurance officer to join our small team based at our West Leederville centre. This new position will be on a full-time basis working 38 hours per week.
**The Person**
We are seeking someone that has extremely high attention to detail, be able to prioritise accordingly, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, work with mínimal supervision and the ability to multi-task and meet the required deadlines.
**The successful person must**:
- Be internal audit and HACCP trained
- Be proficient in writing and updating of SOP’s
- Have a solid background in food safety, quality assurance and risk assessment activities
- Have excellent report writing and written communication skills
- Have a good rapport with external contractors
- Must be proficient in word and other MS office suites
- Have the ability to act responsibly, confidently and with discretion
**The Role**
The purpose of this role as Quality Assurance Officer is to travel across the six SOEL childcare centres conducting compliance checks and internal audits under the NQF this will include monthly food safety program validation.
- Oversee work, Health, and Safety compliance
- Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices and documentation
- Responsible for inputting and updating QA data and maintaining the integrity of all on-site QA records
- Ensure all employees are adequately inducted and trained in quality and food safety policies and procedures
- Maintain and update quality manuals, procedures, systems and work documentation
- Prepare and manage internal quality audits and assists with external quality audits
- Experience in ISO, SQF, HACCP, Food safety Management Systems, Internal auditing
- Ad hoc tasks as directed by the QA manager
