**About the role**:
Reporting to Group Supply Planning Manager, we have a 12-month Contract opening for the role of Network Planner. This role sits within CSR's newly created centralised Supply Chain division. The role specifically supports the Networking planning for one of our very popular building materials and could lead to a permanent role for the right person.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Lead the execution of Inventory optimisation initiatives within the network.
- Partner with distribution staff, customer service staff, production planners and production staff to resolve operational issues on sites.
- Review monthly distribution requirements and proactively recommend strategies to:

- Minimise excess stock.
- Minimise inventory shortages.
- Monitor stock levels and rebalance where appropriate.
- Identify inventory policy violations.
- Track STOs and ensure timely delivery to customer sites.
- Track Inventory performance against KPIs.
- Manage SAP purchase order and STO details to reflect any changes.

**What you'll bring**:

- A minimum of three (3) years professional experience in supply chain planning.
- Previous experience of first principal inventory management methods is essential.
- Numerate and systems literate.
- Exposure to S&OP / IBP environment
- Good planning and organising skills, combined with strong attention to detail.
- A team player, able to effectively influence and communicate cross functionally to a senior level.
- Able to meet deadlines with quality output.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Innovative thinking and problem solving.
- Analytical thinking and information seeking.
- Preferred experience across other areas of supply chain management including inventory, freight, warehousing, or procurement. within a manufacturing environment
