**The opportunity**:
Join Australasia's largest and fastest-growing bus operator as a **Network Planner**, and become an integral part of our dynamic team during an exciting period of transformation. As we continue to expand our services and enhance the** efficiency of our network, **we are seeking a Network Planner who can help us **optimize routes, schedules, and resources **to ensure the **seamless operation** of our bus transportation services.
**You’ll be involved in**:
- Proactively ensure that Hastus and TIMS are maintained with up-to-date and accurate data for Kinetic’s networks and service schedules
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our bus transportation network.
- Provide support to the Head of Planning and Performance with projects
- Play a support role in network reviews, gathering relevant data, and undertaking surveys
- Assist management in analysis and review of network performance, planning and service
- Provide regular reports and analysis on network performance, highlighting opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
- Develop, maintain and proactively build business relationships with all stakeholders. Develop a collaborative working relationship (both internally and externally), focusing on excellence in service provision and individual performance.
- Assist your manager to undertake internal audits across the Network Planning operation as appropriate
**The boxes you'll tick**:
- Proven experience in network planning, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets.
- Proficiency in transportation planning software and tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance in the transportation industry is a plus.
- Self-motivated with a demonstrated enthusiastic approach to day-to-day business operations and positive approach to a continual changing work environment
- Strong computer literacy, MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and high-level competency with Hastus and TIMS
