Boronia, Australia Vitality Works Full time

Our Site Specialists provide Injury Prevention, Health Assessment, and Workplace Wellness programs for our clients across Australia. We are looking for a health professional who is keen to undertake work with our blue-collar and white collar clients in Melbourne, particularly in the Boronia and NE Melbourne area with the ability to travel across Victoria as required. We are keen to set you up for success and support you to deliver our programs at our client sites. To ensure success in your role, we will provide paid training and support you to upskill in the areas of education, training and coaching.
The programs delivered by the Health Professional include:

- Facilitation of musculoskeletal conditioning programs.
- Conducting Injury Prevention and Manual Handling workshops.
- Conducting Injury Assessments, Workplace Assessments and Ergonomic Assessments.
- Health Promotion and Toolbox talks, presenting to large and small groups.
- Health Coaching.
- Mentoring, motivating and inspiring people to set and achieve health goals.
- Undertaking employee health checks, including finger prick blood test, blood pressure, disease risk screening & goal setting.
- Tertiary qualifications in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy or Occupational Health.
- Relevant accreditation with governing body e.g., ESSA, APHRA is desirable.
- Experience working in blue collar / manufacturing / construction environments (desirable).
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate.
- Hold a current Driver's license.
- Be COVID vaccinated.
- Be willing to undertake a Police check.
- Experience and/or knowledge of behavioural change and motivational interviewing would be highly regarded however not essential.
- Are energetic and passionate about health and wellbeing.
- Have or are willing to develop outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Have the ability to work autonomously.
- Have ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
- We will consider new graduates who are organised, punctual, motivated and hardworking.

We have opportunities in Boronia 3155 and NE Melbourne currently and other clients located across Melbourne and Regional Victoria. Team members need to be willing to travel to client sites. Travel in your own vehicle is reimbursed on a per kilometre basis. Flights, accommodation, and meal allowances are provided when the nature of the work requires you to be away from home. This is a permanent part time 4 day a week minimum role with a flexible work schedule and above award wages. Most work will be during the week, there may be occasional weekend work. Laptop and all required equipment is provided.
