About the opportunity

At Mercy Health, each moment, no matter how small, truly matters - and as a Cleaner, you’ll create cherished moments each day.

You will play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our facility, ensuring the well-being and comfort of elderly residents. General responsibilities include routine cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms.- Ensure the Aged Care home is cleaned and maintained in accordance with prescribed routines and infection control guidelines.

What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles- Ability to work independently, a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards- A sense of compassion & empathy towards elderly residents- Experience working in Aged Care or Health environment is essential

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- NDIS clearance
