Material Supply Planner Kuisine

**The Opportunity**:
The Material Supply Planner plays a critical role in enabling the production plan for the Kuisine site. This role will be responsible for the ordering of all raws and packs for the site based on the Production Plan, including managing onsite inventory levels for materials.

Major objectives of this role will be to maintain suitable inventory levels of raw materials on site to enable production, escalate any excess materials that require clearance, and escalate any shortfalls to the Supply Planning lead. The Material Supply Planner will manage POs to suppliers including invoice management where exceptions exist, working with suppliers on material availability and arrival timings, and managing transport workorders for internal logistics movements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain supply of raw materials and packaging to support the production plan, including planning for long leadtime items to meet the long term supply plan.
- Identify material constraints to the production plan and escalate to procurement for support and to the Supply Planning Lead for impact to production.
- Identify shortfalls or excess in contract volumes and escalate to Procurement and the Head of Supply Planning for resolution.
- Raise POs for materials and work with suppliers on arrival timings to facilitate production. Invoice management when accruals don’t match.
- Rundown projections for artwork and recipe changes to facilitate successful activities and NPD.
- Optimise the use of D365 within the Planning environment.
- Manage raw material and packaging inventory and movements on site, including flagging risks of excess or aging stock.
- Manage Workorders for internal logistics movements and stock control, including for finished goods shuttling.
- Participate in 6 monthly stocktakes with the production team to verify stock holdings, including finished goods.
- Operate in a safe manner in accordance with SPC Group safety procedures.
- Bachelor Degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain (advantageous)
- APICS planning certification (advantageous)
- APICS planning certification (advantageous)
- Material Planning experience (process and systems)
- ERP system skills (e.g. D365)
- Experience working with external suppliers
