Transport Planner

**Your new company**

Your new company will be a local council, based in South East Melbourne, well-connected to local transport links. You will be working in one of the fastest growing catchment areas and work in a brand new multi-million dollar office.

**Your new role**
- You will work on planning scheme amendments and precinct structure plans, making sure that rapid growth in the council has suitable transport planning initiatives,
- Manage the network planning, design and development of transport projects from inception to completion
- Responsible Strategic transport network planning outcomes and develop a forward investment program based on sound transport principles
- Lead and represent the organisation to provide specialist transport planning advice to the Team Leader, Manager, Director, and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- You will be a qualified town planner with experience in a local council, state government organisation or private sector company.
- Demonstrate a shared leadership approach and model behaviours consistent with the Council values.
- Provide direction, role clarity and coaching, ensuring direct reports have clear work objectives, regular reviews, and feedback, and are positively engaged in the performance review process.
