**Technical Scoping Specialist**:

- Location: South Metro Depot - Forrestdal, WA, AU, 6112

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, planning and scoping work to establish site conditions, task requirements, work methodology, network condition, electrical isolation parameters, customer impact and materials validation that support efficient downstream scheduling and dispatch activities.

This role is based at our brand-new state-of-the-art South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, conveniently located next to Tonkin Highway. Spanning across 120,000 square meters. With the latest infrastructure and technology, the depot empowers all employees to create that perfect work-life balance whilst operating in an inclusive and diverse workplace.

**Your Role in Action**
- Prepare, plan and provide scoping services to establish site conditions, task requirements, work methodology, network condition, electrical isolation parameters, customer impact and materials validation that support efficient downstream scheduling and dispatch activities.
- Manage the workload in such a manner that the Scheduling area have sufficient detail to develop daily execution packages for timely delivery and mínimal internal delivery down time.
- Manage internal and external customer expectations and the outcome thereof.
- Take personal accountability for safety in the work environment and ensure safe work practises are followed and a safe work environment maintained.
- Plan for work in advance and adapt plan when resources are pulled away for other business priorities or operational working conditions change.
- Identify all material & plant requirements utilising current engineering / WPM standards and ensure appropriate compatible units are aligned and maintained.

**What Makes You a Great Fit**
- Relevant tertiary or trade-based qualifications with electrical background preferred
- A Certificate III electrical line building or a minimum of 10 years extensive and demonstrated industry construction electrical line building background.
- Sound level of experience and knowledge (minimum of 5 + years) advanced technical experience of entire network, its assets and the requirements needed for providing full scoping services.
- Advanced experience in the following; Distribution and/or Transmission Network assets and construction work practices Distribution and/or Transmission standard materials and stock codes
- Valid WA Driver’s License Class ‘C’ or ‘C-A’
- Must be able to travel to remote areas & live away from your place of residence as required.
