This Australia's energy industry giant is currently hiring for a Quantitative Risk Analyst in their Financial Risk team. This position will support the development of risk and trading models across their energy trading portfolios, as well as interest rate and currency position in Group Treasury.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Risk management of wholesale electricity and gas positions
- Building, running & maintaining risk models used in their Commodity Risk Management System (CRMS) to manage and report the risk on the portfolio
- Cashflow at Risk, Value at Risk, and credit risk modelling
- Development of quantitative risk & trading models to support decision making

**Key Requirements**
- Experience in a risk management / middle office analytical function
- Solid understanding of portfolio risk measures (VaR, CFaR, option pricing, etc)
- Solid proficiency in Python, Excel and VBA
- Interest in energy markets
