SALARY: $36,800 - $49,280 p.a + Super
*Please note that salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award*
Work Type: Temporary Full Time up to 2 years, proposed commencement in late November / early December 2025
Location: Oran Park Administration Building - 70 Central Avenue, Oran Park 2570

The Volunteer Programs Traineeship within our Community Outcomes branch provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while completing a Certificate IV in Business Administration - a fantastic way to kick-start a successful career

What you will be doing
- Supporting the onboarding of volunteers and maintaining volunteer systems
- Assisting in the delivery of engaging volunteer programs and events
- Performing administrative and reporting tasks to support program operations
- Helping implement Camden Council’s Volunteer Management Policy
- Working closely with the Volunteer Programs Coordinator to ensure smooth program delivery

What We Are Looking For
Essential
- Willingness to complete Certificate IV in Business Administration.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to a dynamic team.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Proactive attitude and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, along with effective interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in MS Office suite at a basic-intermediate level.
- Current driver’s licence (Full, Provisional P1 or P2).
Desirable
- Experience in the customer service industry.
- Experience working as a volunteer.
Please note the preferred applicant will be required to complete background checks, including a criminal history check, Working with Children Check (if over 18 years) and a pre-employment medical.
