Retail Security Supervisor

**Position Purpose**

The principal objective of the Retail Security Supervisor is to manage all security operations on behalf of the client. The supervisor is expected manage security (Operations and Planning), Administration, Logistics, Training. The site supervisor is also responsible to lead the team of Control Room Operators and Floor Guards to ensure compliance and high quality of service delivery to the client. To carry out guarding duties at guard sites in accordance with Certis Standing Orders and site instructions, in compliance with AS4421-1996 and all relevant State and/or Federal legislation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide a high-quality security service at client locations
- Conduct foot patrols of the Centre Common Areas as well as Back of House Areas
- Responding to and de-escalating anti-social behaviour
- Respond to security emergencies
- Maintaining log of incident reports
- Completing necessary paperwork
- Conduct incident investigations in a timely manner and ensure that Security Incident Reports are completed and submitted
- Provide a customer service approach and maintain a fair, courteous and respectful manner in dealing with clients and customers
- Demonstrate knowledge and competence in the implementation of emergency procedures
- Use of computer systems and communication tools
- Ability to problem solve
- Proficient computer skills
- Demonstrate leadership qualities
- Demonstrate competencies in Administration and Training

**Qualifications Mandatory**
- Current and applicable Security license in accordance with the Security Industry Act and associated Regulations of the state or territory you work
- Current First Aid Certification
- Australian/New Zealand citizen or permanent Australian resident or hold a visa that entitles you to work in Australia (other than a student or working holiday visa)
- Ability to pass additional security clearances

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a similar role would be highly desirable
- Previous CCTV monitoring experience will be highly regarded
- Ability and experience writing detailed incident reports
- Experience using access control systems (Integrity will be highly regarded/advantageous)
- Experience using CCTV software (Milestone will be highly regarded/advantageous)
- Experience working in corporate environment
- Experience working in a team environment
