**Apprentice Floor Installer**

CVGT has a career opportunity for a Floor Installing apprenticeship. The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to expand their current skillset and get exposure to all sectors of the trade. All while working towards and completing your apprenticeship.

The successful applicant must be punctual, reliable, a fast learner, able to work in a team and follow instructions.

Duties will include:

- Floor Covering Installation
- Includes directing, planning and coordinating installations
- Installing Carpet, Timber, Laminate & Resilient Flooring.
- Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times on jobsite.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping on jobsite.
- When requested collect final payment from client and return to store.
- Warehouse Management
- Receive stock and manage deliveries when present at warehouse.
- Correctly identify customer stock
- Correctly identify stock and stock levels
- Perform regular stock takes.
- Preparing Floor Covering for installation
- Manage and prepare floor covering at warehouse day prior to day of installation.
- Ad Hoc Tasks
- Carry out ad hock tasks at the request of the store owner such as but not limited to deliveries, fault rectifications, site inspections and measures.

**Requirements**:

- Punctuality during specified hours of work
- Installing floor coverings to Australian Standards and Manufactures Instructions.
- Installing floor coverings to Customers, Salesperson and Store Owners Satisfaction.
- Keeping worksite safe in accordance with OH&S requirements.
- Maintain paperwork correctly.
- Maintain good relationships with store staff and customers.
