An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new Supervisor to oversee our residential Solar and Battery installations with our New Energy team based in Wetherill Park Sydney.

About the Opportunity

Service Stream’s New Energy division is currently seeking a motivated person to join our team to be responsible for the delivery of residential solar and battery systems for our major clients.

Reporting directly to the Contract Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the infield quality and safety of our sub-contractor installation teams and managing the day-to-day operational activities of a major VPP contract and contributing towards its successful delivery.

With a focus on the renewable sectors, our success is underpinned by our resolute commitment to excellence in safety, quality, innovation and sustainability.

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Wetherill Park, Sydney QLD

Reporting Line: Contract Manager - New Energy

Key Responsibilities
- Staying abreast of all relevant AS and industry standards
- Reviewing client and internal documentation to ensure compliance to AS and industry standards
- Assisting the Contract Manager with pricing schedules
- Coaching to the administration team on technical matters and issues
- Working with other Project Managers to proactively ensure alignment on installation compliance and quality
- Manage day to day activities with sub-contractors within your assigned geographical area
- Conduct HSE and QA audits in the field
- Complete desktop audits on installation data

About You

To be successful in this role, you have extensive experience in the PV and Battery industry. You will need a strong understanding of all relevant electrical, solar and battery AS and industry standards.

You will also demonstrate and possess the following:

- Electrician certification or Electrical Engineering
- CEC Design & Install (desirable)
- Battery endorsement (desirable)
- Strong technical understanding in PV and battery systems, how they should be installed and how they operate.
- Familiarity with Tesla Powerwall 2 and Sungrow battery systems would be beneficial
- Strong aptitude for effective leadership, with a commitment to positively influence others.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Possess a high level of organisation skills to achieve targets. Be effective with time management and be able to prioritize critical issues
