**Who are we looking for?**
Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the School of Law, Faculty of Business and Law.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to play a key role within our research programs. The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will carry out research and support the undertaking of research projects about end-of-life law and voluntary assisted dying in Australia.
The position will support a number of existing projects that sit within the end-of-life stream at the Australian Centre for Health Law Research.

**What you need to succeed**
You will demonstrate:
- Completion of a PhD (or a recent submission of a PhD), or equivalent accreditation or standing.
- Completion of a degree in law, health, bioethics or other relevant discipline; and/or equivalent qualifications and/or professional experience.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct and manage independent research, including planning and delivering project outcomes within agreed timeframes and budgets.
- Demonstrated high level of oral communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to connect and collaborate with research colleagues in a team environment and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated high level written communication skills, including experience in writing reports, conference papers and/or contributing to academic publications using referencing software.
- Demonstrated digital literacy including the ability to successfully use Microsoft Suite and ability to rapidly acquire working knowledge of data analysis software packages.
**Desirable**:
Demonstrated experience in qualitative and/or quantitative research techniques.
Ability to undertake research and writing beyond the discipline of law.
