**Your opportunity**
- We’re looking for a strategic experienced and operational minded **Supply Chain & Inventory Senior Specialist (AS7)** to operationalise supply strategies and assure operational integration as well as leading inventory governance and optimisation across Queensland Rail. In this permanent Brisbane-based role, you’ll drive continuous improvement, ensure compliance, and support operational excellence across the entire supply chain.
- In this role, you will:

- Operationalise the developed supply chain and inventory strategy to support future plans.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to align planning and process improvements
- Develop and implement robust inventory governance frameworks and performance models.
- Define standards and accountabilities for inventory controls and quality assurance.
- Lead the development of KPIs, benchmarks, and scorecards to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with business leaders to ensure visibility and efficiency across the material lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure business continuity and resilience.
- Promote a culture of learning by developing training and capability uplift strategies.
- This is a full-time, **permanent** position based in Brisbane CBD. The role offers a **starting salary of $151,359 plus 12.75% superannuation**, along with hybrid work options to support a healthy work-life balance.

**What we’re looking for**
- Extensive knowledge of inbound supply chain management and lean inventory optimisation methodologies.
- Proven ability to implement best practice governance and supply planning methodologies.
- Experience in continuous improvement and demand-driven process enhancements.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to build productive partnerships.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and solve complex problems.
