Lifeblood has an inspiring opportunity for you

The role involves providing your specialist testing expertise to lead testing activities on Lifeblood projects and BAU changes. Initially the role will also involve working with our NBMS team to uplift their testing processes and practices.

You will also be required to utilise your testing expertise, to work closely with project and change mangers to manage testing activities, determine efficient test approaches, as well as mentor and manage your team.

Lead, develop and manage the workload of testing staff assigned to your team/project and assisting them to succeed

Collaborate, estimate, support and implement across a range of stakeholders to ensure best practices and delivery approaches are used across the full testing scope

Provide testing governance, actively identifying & managing testing related risks/issues, ensuring all quality standards are met

Creation & delivery of approved project testing documentation, manage testing resources, schedules and defects. Communicate & educate the testing framework and methodology

Ability to mentor and coach a team that includes non-technical staff

Previous experience implementing testing improvements, or best practices, within an organisation

Multiple years of end-to-end testing experience within configured/customised software products

Great communicator with experience working with a distributed team

Experience working with HP ALM is essential for the role

Self-motivated and driven with the ability to work alone or just as easily as part of a team

Experience with defect management & conducting defect triage meetings
