Taubmans Store Manager

As a Store Manager at our Bundamba store, you will work in partnership with your small team to lead, drive, develop and encourage them to achieve overall success. You will also be responsible and accountable for your stores presentation and growth and be willing to dive head-first in every aspect of this fast-paced retail environment.
**Key Responsibilities****:
- Leading a small retail team (which includes training, coaching and mentoring the team)
- Provide outstanding customer service as well as establishing relationships with our strong customer base.
- Collaborating with the Store team and Trade team to improve sales potential within the store
- You can work in a fast paced environment that sees you change direction frequently throughout the day
- Merchandise and replenish stock in a timely manner and ensuring it is presented well
**Qualifications****:
- Previous retail management experience (either as a previous assistant store manager or store manager) with the desire to provide excellent customer service to our growing customer base. You won't be afraid to be hands on daily in the store
- A strong interest to learn new skills as well as an invested interest to build your knowledge along with your teams knowledge and expertise on our products
- An outstanding leader and teammate who has the ability to cope with our fast paced and changing environment
- A keen eye for detail, taking pride in the presentation of your store - run it like you own it
- You will have flexibility to work on a roster between the hours of 6:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday
- You will be comfortable with manual handling as part of your normal day. For example - lifting heavy paint tins, pushing and pulling trolleys, standing for long periods, kneeling etc
- Current drivers license
**About us**:
This position is an important part of PPG’s Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) Architectural Team. The ANZ Architectural team is responsible for iconic products and brands like Taubmans, White Knight, Johnstone’s and Bristol. We manufacture and supply high quality paint products locally to DIY and professional painters, whilst being backed and supported by the global expertise within PPG.
