**About The Team**

Grocery and Retail is a startup within Uber, a team focussed on growth, but with the support and leverage of Uber's large global ridesharing and delivery businesses. It is the delivery of everything that isn't restaurant food - think groceries, essentials, alcohol, pharmaceuticals, beauty, and more... We are creating something brand new Many of the problems we face are new for Uber and require creative solutions that cater to different customers, we're able to solve them because we deeply care **#BuildwithHeart **.

**About The Role**

In this role you will be part of the Grocery & Retail team and focus on accelerating growth of independent retailers and SMB businesses on Uber Eats. You will be working with an existing portfolio of independent retailers while also bringing new business to Uber in ANZ.

**Your Impact in Role**
- Manage a portfolio of independent retail partnerships in ANZ focussing on bringing quality grocery and alcohol selection to Uber Eats customers, retention and growing existing accounts
- Build strong relationships with decision makers at HQ level while managing the day to day business for merchant partners
- Acquire new business opportunities within the independent retail and SMB segment
- Support operational processes and help define and scale new processes suitable for independent merchants
- Focus on growing accounts by selling strategic Uber services and improving operational performance

**The Experience You'll Bring**
- Experience in account management, business development, sales or partner management required
- Proven track record in building strong relationships with partners and achieving sales and business objectives
- Commercial acumen. Understanding of how businesses and organizations work and how to navigate a partner's business
- Hands on problem solver mindset, proactive, creative and flexible
- Experience in the grocery and retail segment preferred
- Project management and experience with mass account management preferred
