Live - What you will do
Due to a team member relocating interstate, a rare opportunity has arisen to join our diverse and inclusive National Cardiovascular Specialty team. In this role your core focus will be to maximize sales of Amgen's innovative lipid lowering biologic across your QLD South territory and associated country areas of Toowoomba and Mackay. You’ll also work very closely with our Primary Care team to assist them with influencing prescribing change at General Practice Level. Your key customers include Cardiologists and Endocrinologists in hospital/specialist settings along with our Primary Care Sales Team. The position reports to the Senior District Sales Manager and is a full time, permanent role. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of Amgen in this competitive therapeutic space, with a biologic medicine providing an innovative solution to patients with serious illness.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Build trusted partnerships with customers and provide differentiated value through promotion of products, education and support- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement territory and key account plans, with ongoing evaluation, tracking and course correction.- Meet customer and territory KPI’s, report customer activity in CRM system- Foster, nurture and develop current and future Key opinion leaders in the cardiovascular therapeutic area to help grow and educate at both primary and secondary care levels

We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The experienced Hospital/Specialist Representative we seek is a collaborative, communicative, tech-savvy and innovative individual with these attributes/qualifications:
- Field Sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry within the Hospital/Specialist environment is essential, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets- Previous experience selling in the Cardiovascular (in particular Lipid lowering) area at Hospital/Specialist level will be highly regarded- Tertiary qualifications in science or business and completion of Medicines Australia certification- Account Management/Development mindset - proactive self-management in owning your business and determining results- Valid driver's licence, residency and Work rights in Australia required
