Having recently launched a project that is critical to Queensland, this Government Department now requires the skills and experience of a Finance Officer A04 who will report to the Senior Business Support Officer. This full time temporary position is initially for 6 months with the possibility of an extension.
- Previous experience in procurement contract management is essential._

**As the Finance Officer you will be responsible for**:

- Monitoring the approved budget
- Providing advice including budget variance analysis
- Providing quality financial reports and recommendations to the leadership team
- Maintain high levels of confidentiality and sensitivity in provision of services and display a willingness to plan and develop work schedules to meet critical financial and business deadlines.
- Work as an active team member by assisting other Business Services officers in managing workloads during peak times/periods of leave.
- Other ad hoc duties as required under the direction of the Senior Business Support Officer

**You must be able to demonstrate**:

- Previous SAP experience
- Experience working in a confidential, deadline driven environment
- Ability to work as an active team member by assisting and managing workloads during peak periods
- Understanding and knowledge of Queensland Government Procurement frameworks and Contract Management Framework
