Finance Analyst

**Description**

**Role Intro**:
This role is based in our Eastern Creek Distribution Centre, you will be responsible for tracking and measuring the financial performance of the Transport division (Domestic & International).

The role of Transport Financial Analyst is ideally suited to an individual who is looking for a role which will enable them to influence key operational leaders and guide them through the provision of relevant data and analysis to enable strategic and swift decision making. It is also suited to someone who is looking for a role that will enable them to combine their highly developed technical skills and financial acumen to deliver optimal outcomes for the business.

**You will be**:

- Conducting financial analysis across the organisation’s transport business, tracking, and measuring financial performance
- Providing commentary and recommendations to key operational leaders
- Identifying opportunities to reduce cost and or improve service and quality
- Delivering financial data to enable open and transparent communication channels between the organisation and it service providers
- Ensuring relevant financial information is maintained within the company’s CRM to ensure accurate and timely billing is occurring

**You will bring**:

- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of SQL Database.
- Highly developed analytical skills, with the ability to draw logical conclusions from data
- Experience in a Financial Analyst or similar role, ideally within a Transport or Logistics business.
- Extensive exposure to an Operations environment, ideally within an FMCG environment.
- Advanced skills using MS Office in particular MS Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills that will build relationships with Senior Leaders, Stakeholders, and Team Members at all levels.
