**About the Role**

If you are an experienced and degree-qualified Early Years Education Professional_ _(teacher or allied-health professional)_** **looking for an opportunity to** **lead a highly talented multi-disciplinary team of early years professionals & support staff, then this is the perfect opportunity for you

Our EarlyAQtion Services team based at Sunnybank Hills have an opportunity for an experienced early years teaching or allied health professional leader to lead the team in the provision of sustainable, quality early years services for children on the autism spectrum and their families.

In collaboration with the Manager EarlyAQtion, EST Coordinators and Senior Professionals, the Coordinator EarlyAQtion will coordinate and oversee daily operations of the Sunnybank EarlyAQtion Kindi service, including providing direct leadership of professionals and/or support staff, and actively support and deliver early years services (ie. group programs, individual therapy, education support and/ other early years consultative services).

**Skills & Experience**
- Tertiary qualification in Education, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy or Psychology
- Minimum five years’ postgraduate teaching (preferably Special Education or Early Years) or clinical experience
- Demonstrated high level understanding of autism, child and adolescent development, behaviours and learning
- Proven expertise in the delivery of evidence-based services in the field of ASD
- High level interpersonal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work autonomously under direction and collaboratively as a member of a team
- Highly effective time management and organisation skills with intermediate computer skills

**_ Highly-regarded:_**
- Experience leading a multidisciplinary or trans-disciplinary team
- Demonstrated experienced in provision of services to schools

**Special Conditions & Requirements**
- Current registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant Professional Board or Association in Queensland
- May be required to cover EarlyAQtion groups on a relief basis on scheduled workdays
- Evidence of current COVID-19 Vaccination
- Blue Card Exemption & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance**:

- Provide First Aid inc. Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate
