**About the Role**
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate researcher to contribute to cutting-edge health economics in the field of genomics and precision medicine. Working as part of a research team, you will be expected to support, develop, and manage a program of health economics research under the direction of A/Prof Ilias Goranitis (Unit Head) and A/Prof Chris Schilling (Deputy Unit Head). This role offers the chance to collaborate with a dynamic team, shape national health policy through impactful research, and advance your expertise while delivering meaningful healthcare innovations.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting, developing, and managing a program of health economics research, including contributing to high-quality publications and research proposals.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to conduct impactful health economic evaluations in genomics and precision medicine.
- Engaging with stakeholders by providing health economics input and presenting research findings at conferences and other forums.

**Who We Are Looking For**
We’re looking for people who demonstrate excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, and a proactive and innovative approach to research. You are motivated by the opportunity to contribute to impactful health economics research and influence national healthcare policy, all while thriving in a supportive and dynamic team environment.

You will also have:

- Honours level or Masters level qualification in a relevant discipline (Economics, Health Economics, Health Services Research, Health Sciences) - Level A
- Postgraduate qualifications in a quantitative discipline with a demonstrated experience in health-related research - Level B
- Experience in health economic evaluations, including data analysis and methodological research.
- Quantitative research experience including writing research proposals, conducting literature reviews, conducting research and writing manuscripts.
