**Duties**

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as **Underwriter** you will:

- Effectively complete underwriting assessments and communicate eligibility decisions within Service Level Standards.
- Develop, maintain, and autonomously manage highly effective business relationships with internal teams and external builders, customers, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Respond to queries and assist in responding to disputes and complaints with eligible builders to achieve outcomes that are in the best interest of the scheme.

**Skills & Experience**
- Relevant tertiary qualification and minimum of 1 year continuous and current membership accreditation as a CA, CFA and/or CPA.
- Experience in relevant fields of commercial credit risk analysis, combined with knowledge of either home warranty insurance, financial credit risk or the credit insurance industry.
- Solid communication skills, work well in a team environment and able to meet deadlines.
