**Job Description**:
Pedestrian Group, Australia’s largest youth publisher and home to PEDESTRIAN.TV, VICE Australia, Refinery29 Australia and more, is launching a free, ad-supported television channel within 9Now.

**This role is based in either Sydney or Melbourne.**

You'll be responsible for the planning and implementation of content and editorial placement across the platform on 9Now. You'll be one of the key people defining the editorial and content strategy, responsible for engaging audiences and delivering results through content collections, strategic positioning, creative copywriting and tactical scheduling across VOD and FAST programming.

**Day to day you will**:

- Develop and execute the programming strategy, initiatives and marketing activity to increase viewership, drive customer engagement and meet sales demand.
- Communicate and share PEDESTRIAN content priorities and strategies to internaand l external business stakeholders.
- Monitor daily content curation and management of collections, elements, featured rail and carousel, onward journeys and segments.
- Develop and maintain content schedules, and communicate content strategy to wider Pedestrian Group business.
- Manage licence agreements with record labels, distributors and creators.
- Generate terms of agreements with various stakeholders including record labels, distributors and creators.
- Maintain daily transmission logs, program information and reporting to all content licence partners and clients.
- Work with the Pedestrian Group partnerships team on strategic sponsored content integration that aligns with the audience strategy.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in planning and implementing data driven editorial strategy for on-demand video platforms.
- Experience in content curation and in-depth knowledge of the on demand landscape, television, genres, music, categories, viewing trends and audience habits.
- Live to entertain, and to influence the viewing experience of young Aussies.
- An understanding of local and international Content, including music programming.
- Strong editorial and curation skills, with the ability to identify content that will engage with youth audiences.
- Ability to analyse trends and report and act on them using data and analytics.
- Minimum 3 years experience in programming and content management.
- A passion for television, film, music, and pop culture, with an understanding of PEDESTRIAN’s tone of voice.
