**About the Opportunity**:
Darling Group is currently looking for an Assistant Manager to join the team at Higher Ground. The Assistant Manager manages the front of the house team and is responsible for smooth running of the operations. The successful applicant should be passionate about offering exceptional hospitality to guests and upholding highest standards at the venue.

Housed in a heritage-listed powerhouse, Higher Ground is a multi-award winning, all-day dining destination located in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. Six connected levels wrap around the perimeter of the original brick building to create a suite of intimate tiered platforms with a menu showcasing Australia's very best local and seasonal produce.

**Experience & Skills**:

- Demonstrated floor management experience in a high volume cafe or restaurant
- Sophisticated leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively
- Exemplary service skills
- Passionate about people, hospitality and experiences
- Strong organisation skills with the capability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organisational and time management skills
- Demonstrated innovative approach to identify development opportunities
- Available and willing to work weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
