We are seeking an experienced and dynamic **Canteen Manager** to oversee the efficient and effective operation of our canteen facility at **Chirnside Park**. As a vital member of our organisation, the Canteen Manager will be responsible for preparing and maintaining high standards of food quality, customer service, and financial management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a small team and create a welcoming environment; on a **permanent part-time basis from Monday-Thursday 07:00am-2:00pm**.

**The Impact You'll Make;**
- Plan, organise, and execute daily canteen operations, ensuring smooth functioning and timely service
- Ensure all catering requests are fulfilled in a timely manner for workplace events
- Oversee inventory management, procurement, and stock control to maintain optimal levels of supplies while minimising wastage
- Implement and maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the canteen area, adhering to all relevant health codes and regulations
- Collaborate with the team to develop an enticing and diverse menu that meets the preferences and dietary requirements of our team members
- Ensure that all food items are prepared, cooked, and presented to the highest standards of quality and freshness
- Foster a customer-centric culture within the canteen team, promoting excellent customer service and addressing any customer concerns or feedback promptly and professionally
- Develop and manage budgets for the canteen, tracking expenses
- Stay up to date with regulations, and food safety standards
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to food handling, health, and safety

**About You;**
- Proven experience in managing a canteen or food service establishment, with a track record of delivering exceptional results
- Hold a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or greater)
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practises, as well as relevant local health regulations
- Passion for delivering high-quality food and service to all team members
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
