An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Officer in Customer Service to join our Dandenong, Victoria team.

**Your duties will include**:

- Provide dedicated customer service from the placement of the order all the way through the process to the delivery of our products.
- Convert quotations, credit claims and returns.
- Provide communications on product availability, product specifications, pricing and delivery information to customers.
- Maintain a high level of communication with customers, contractors, account managers, production, dispatch, and distribution centres.
- Resolve complaints and customer enquiries politely and professionally without conflict.
- Assisting in the coordination and completion of stock takes.
- Releasing daily orders for the production team efficiently and accurately.

**Essential Selection Criteria**:

- Have 2 to 5 years' experience within the building industry (timber, building or construction industries preferred).
- Have 2 to 5 years' experience within a customer service environment.
- Possess excellent communications skills inclusive of integrating and adapting to different personalities in a fast-moving industry (i.e. speak to customers, floor personnel, truck drivers, and senior management).
- Strong time management skills are essential, and the ability to multitask and work towards achieving strict deadlines.
- Ability to problem-solve and professionally manage customer queries and complaints.

**Desired Selection Criteria**:

- Not afraid of a challenging role and is looking for a long-term career.
- Experience with SAP software is highly desirable in this role.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Proof of rights to work in Australia.
- Current National Police Clearance willing to obtain at own cost.
- Ability to complete a comprehensive Pre-Employment Medical, including a drug and alcohol screening with the company’s provider.

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
