**ABOUT THE COMPANY.**

This is an opportunity within a Local Council based in Western Sydney for a Property Officer to join the Property Services division. You will play a pivotal role in undertaking the purchasing, sales and leasing of properties as well as administering any property transactions.

**ABOUT THE POSITION.**

As a Property Officer, you will report to the Director of Economy and Commercial Development. You will be responsible for undertaking purchases, sales and leasing of property. You will also administer property transactions such as road closure process and sale, issuing licences and permits as well as granting of easements.

**DUTIES.**
- Undertake purchasing, sales and leasing of properties
- Administering property transactions and granting of easements
- Responding to customer enquiries in relation to property matters
- Undertaking property related searches and writing and preparing property reports

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.**
- Demonstrated superior negotiation and project management skills
- Knowledge of Land Acquistiosn and/or Valuation of property under the Land Acquisition Act
- Experience in project management of lease tenancies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service skills
