Our Design & Construction team at Scentre Group is responsible for the end-to-end process from concept to delivery of our Westfield living centres. An integral part of this is the extensions and upgrades to existing centres. We develop and deliver designs that reflect the Westfield experience and latest thinking while optimising costs and providing speed to market that exceeds the best achievable by alternate delivery methodologies.

**Your opportunity**

We have an exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced General Foreman to join the Scentre Group Australian Construction team to drive the program of project works 101 Castlereagh Street Sydney.

The heritage redevelopment will feature high-end retail and premium commercial within the existing building, while a new 22-storey luxury residential tower will be added above with podium gardens and views across Sydney Harbour and Hyde Park.

Reporting to the Site Manager, as the Foreman, you will be supervising and coordinating on site construction activities across the project whilst ensuring productivity, labour costs are kept within construction budget and compliance to the safety plan.

**Your key accountabilities**
- In conjunction with the Site Manager - plan, coordinate and control the on-site construction activities to ensure the completed works achieve the Environmental Occupational Health & Safety (EOH&S), time, cost and quality objectives for the Project.
- Attends the weekly Safety walks and Safety meeting.
- Attends Pre starts/Toolbox talks, Foreman's meeting, weekly team meetings.
- Embraces the Team environment and the overall project, not limiting themselves to own area/zone of work.
- Management of construction activities and/or subcontractor’s works as assigned by the Project Manager or Site Manager.
- Regularly review the construction program. Preparation of short-term programs (2-4 weekly look ahead programs). Assist in forward planning to minimize potential delays.
- Control and coordination of subcontractors, that are under your direction.
- Provide positive leadership to the subcontractors.
- Understand the subcontractor’s Scope of Works.
- After hours work will be required from time to time _

You are an experienced Foreman with a history of coordinating various trades on large scale building projects across retail, commercial and or residential.
