**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Front desk and administration support and day to day liaison with the GPs

2. Managing reception and clinical support staff including recruitment, induction, training, appraisal of staff and ongoing development

3. Managing the rostering of staff

4. Maintaining and ensuring continuous improvement of service and quality standards across the practice

5. Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports from the practice software as required

6. Have an understanding of compliance, legislative and accreditation requirements relating to General Practice and maintain clinic accreditation

7. Develop and monitor systems, processes and procedures with the ability to recognise and implement changes and improvements as necessary

8. Lead, coach and motivate the team to learn new systems and encourage new ways to reach the practice goals

**Essential skills**:
9. Proficient computer skills either Best Practice or other practice software essential

10.An excellent understanding of patient billing and receipting

11. The ability to develop and communicate procedures and processes

12.Flexibility in hours of work to maintain business requirements as needed

13.Genuine empathy for patient welfare and superior customer service by "leading by example" and ensuring practitioners and staff adhere to best practice standards

14.Having passion and ambition to develop this role

**Experience required**:
General Practice Management experience of a minimum of 1-2 years

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- Practice management: 1 year (preferred)
