**The Role**:
We are seeking a personable and professional accounts payable and payroll administrator to support our Boronia-based Finance team. You will manage our reception area, greeting customers, contractors and supporting the IDT team. This is a varied and busy role.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- End to End Payroll : _
Monthly payroll processing including relevant allowance payments, deductions, superannuation, leave and other specified items.
Update payroll records by recording changes, process new employees, terminations, transfers.
Address employee's pay-related concerns and provide accurate payroll information, complete requests for pay-related documents including statements and verifications.
Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive payroll records, file in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, payments and guidelines.
- Accounts Payable: _
Accounts payable - data entry of invoices, assisting with weekly and ad-hoc payment run and vendor queries.
Review and verify invoices and check and match invoices against purchase orders and approvals.
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
Assist with month end closing, file in a timely manner.
- Reception/Administration: _
Answer telephone, screen, and direct calls, take and relay messages.
Greet people entering the building, and monitor visitor access, provide contractor security swipe cards when required, and maintain security awareness.
Receive, sort and direct mail. Maintain current phone and contact list.
Maintain stationery requests, ordering, distribution, and adequate stock levels.
Additional duties as requested by the senior management team.
Administrative support to Human Resources Go to person for event planning requirements and social activities
**Skills & Experience Required**:
Minimum requirement for this position is a high school diploma, and knowledge of accounts payable and payroll processing. 3+yrs experience managing end to end payroll Strong understanding of all necessary legislation relating to accounts payable and Australian payroll, including state and federal regulations Knowledge of HR3 payroll beneficial Experienced SAP user or similar accounting system Knowledge of customer service principles and practices Understanding of basic accounting principles Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task/prioritise
**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
