Sydney, Australia I-MED Full time

**About I-MED**:
Across Australia, I-MED Radiology Network operates 270 clinics and performs over 6 million patient procedures each year, making us one of the largest providers of medical imaging in the world. With over 400 doctors and 4,000 staff actively sharing clinical knowledge and expertise.

We are united by a vision: to be the most respected and trusted medical imaging specialists in the world. We're not just in the business of providing scans for patients and their referrers. **We are the place to go when you need answers.**

**About the Role**:
We're seeking an experienced Privacy Lead to drive and manage our organisation's privacy program and ensure our strategy aligns with I-MED's goals and compliance requirements. You'll play a critical role in ensuring compliance with privacy legislation across Australia and New Zealand, including the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and Privacy Act 2020, while continuing to embed privacy into our Data Governance Framework.

As a senior privacy leader, you'll bring deep expertise in privacy risks and regulatory requirements, with a proven ability to elevate privacy standards across complex organisations. Your extensive knowledge enables you to drive best practices in privacy and compliance, positively impacting privacy maturity across the board.

Your exceptional stakeholder and relationship management skills allow you to consult, guide, and influence colleagues and leaders at all levels, ensuring a consistent approach to privacy compliance and risk minimisation. Experience in Healthcare or related industries is essential. You will be hands on and skilled at fostering a high-performing culture and driving efficiency through effective guidance and team growth.

This role is pivotal in safeguarding personal and health data and upholding our commitment to trust and transparency.

**What You'll Bring**:

- Extensive privacy experience, ideally in a leadership role, with a strong grasp of Australian privacy law and a drive to stay ahead of changes.
- Strategic thinking with a proactive approach to privacy risks.
- Hands on leadership that inspires collaboration across departments.
- Excellent communication skills to influence C-level stakeholders and simplify privacy concepts for everyone.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications such as Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/A) or Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) are highly desirable.
- Extensive experience in privacy and data protection roles, preferably in a leadership capacity.
- In-depth understanding of Australian privacy laws, including the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and continuous learning mindset to be the expert in upcoming Privacy Act amendments and relevant international privacy standards.
