We are seeking an experienced Head of IT Risk and Security to join our technology team to drive the development and implementation of a robust cybersecurity strategy, safeguarding our information systems and assets from evolving cyber threats. As the Head of IT Risk and Security, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the security and integrity of our technological infrastructure. By identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks linked to information technology systems, networks, and data, you will help shape and execute effective strategies, policies, and procedures to fortify our technology assets. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including IT and Risk & Compliance, you'll establish a resilient risk management framework, ensuring a steadfast security posture.

**Key Responsibilities and Activities**:

- Developing and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and policies
- Conducting risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and devising effective risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborating with Risk & Compliance to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
- Cultivating a culture of security awareness and accountability throughout the organization
- Leading incident response activities and contributing to business continuity planning
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity into business processes and projects
- Providing regular updates and reports on cybersecurity posture to senior management and stakeholders

**What you will bring to the role**:

- IT Degree qualifications desired
- Proven extensive experience in a similar position
- Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, frameworks, and regulations
- Strong understanding of emerging cyber threats, attack vectors, and vulnerability management
- Experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies and programs
- Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity technologies, tools, and solutions
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and devising risk mitigation strategies
- Familiarity with security technologies and tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, antivirus software, etc.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
