The Role: You'll play a key role in delivering communication and engagement strategies that support COEX's enterprise strategy. Reporting to the Corporate Communications Lead, you'll partner with internal stakeholders as well as your media, PR, marketing and stakeholder relations colleagues, to develop high-quality strategic communications aligned to internal and external audiences.

Key responsibilities:

  • Write and implement high-quality communications plans to engage and inform stakeholders, partners about the Containers for Change scheme and enhance COEX's reputation.
  • Support internal communications in line with strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across COEX, including with media, PR, marketing, and stakeholder relations colleagues, to understand communication needs and deliver communications to achieve your stakeholders' objectives.
  • Develop a range of high-quality communications, such as key messages, presentations, website and Intranet copy, printed collateral, videos, eDMs and social media content, to support the rollout of key projects and initiatives.
  • Design and implement feedback mechanisms and analysing key metrics to measure communication effectiveness and inform continuous improvement.
  • Create, proofread and edit copy for various communication channels, ensuring all communications adhere to COEX's brand, tone of voice and governance standards.

Who You Are: You're a thoughtful, confident communicator with a background in media, PR or communications. We are looking for team members who not only share these values, but eager to be part of a team that brings them to life. To the role you bring:

  • Approximately 3 - 5 years' experience in similar corporate communications, stakeholder engagement or public affairs role, ideally within a complex or multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Strong writing, editing, content development and channel management skills across digital, print and social media platforms.
  • Proven experience developing and executing integrated communication plans including digital communication campaigns, content marketing and stakeholder engagement.
  • Highly proficient with digital communication tools (e.g. CMS, Mailchimp, Canva, EventsAir, SharePoint).
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and responding to emerging issues with agility, working collaboratively with an insightful, solutions- focused approach.
  • Seeks feedback, measures impact and continuously refines communication approaches.
  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, journalism or a related field (preferred).
  • Eligible to hold a Blue Card.
