We are looking for experienced and dedicated disability on-call staff looking for part time after hours work (weekday 5 pm to 9 am and occasional weekends / public holidays) to work from home, answering on-call enquiries for staff and participants).

Remuneration is via an on-call allowance (above award) plus hourly pay for time spent responding to staff and participant needs. Average time on calls is approximately 15 to 20 hours per week. There will be a senior manager behind on-call staff to consult for further information/direction as required.

2/3 positions available working as a team across a 14 day roster.

A computer and phone will be provided.

This position requires the successful applicants to work autonomously and liaise with relevant stakeholders as required. The successful applicants will also need to be able to keep clear and concise notes of all interactions as evidence of need when invoicing against NDIS plans.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Significant experience working within the disability sector.
- Substantial knowledge and experience supporting individuals with high and complex psychosocial support needs.
- Experience with crisis response management in particular for individuals with high and complex psychosocial support needs.
- Knowledge of standard rostering systems for community based disability service provision (1 day in-house training provided).
- Clear communication skills, incorporating active listening and trauma informed practice standards.
- Ability to professionally support and direct as required disability support workers.

**About you**

You will have a positive person-centred approach, experienced in supporting individuals living with disability, including those living with behaviours of concern, developmental trauma, and executive dysfunction.

You must have the following essential criteria to fulfill this position.
- Cert III, Cert IV (or higher) Individual / Disability Support (or proof of enrolment)
- NDIS Worker Clearance Check or DCSI Disability Screening (or willing to obtain)
- Right to Work in Australia
